I’m a wedding officiant. I play both a functional and legal role on your wedding day. Prior to your walk down the aisle I will help you plan and write your ceremony. On the big day I will perform the wedding ceremony and guide you in administering your vows as well as registering your marriage so you can “make it official!”

I am a former high school Drama, English and History teacher. I have taught all the classic love stories and studied all the classic love poems and decided to use my passion and expertise to help couples find the right words on their big day!
As a member of Humanist Canada, I have performed non-secular (aka non-religious) wedding ceremonies in Durham and Scarborough since 2009.
